Boulder, Colorado - in the foothills of the Rockies, the brutal murder of a district attorney is just the beginning of a terrifying plot of terror. Clinical psychologist Alan Gregory is woken early on a Saturday morning to be told the shocking news: family friend and DA Royal Peterson has been discovered dead, beaten to death as his bedridden wife slept upstairs.
