The story of John White who, after losing his wife, takes to drugs to cure his depression. He is on a downward spiral until he meets Rachel, and his outlook is transformed. But Rachel is not as she seems and John's life begins, once again, to tumble out of control.
Writer, novelist and cultural commentator Michael Bracewell was born in London in 1958. Educated at the University of Nottingham, he has worked for the British Council in London.
